Depending on your preference, responsibilities may include one or more of the following:
:: Event Planning and co-ordination: assist in taking part and running fundraising events such as charity walks, auctions, bake sales, and community outreach activities.
:: Community engagement: engage with local businesses, schools, and community groups to promote fundraising activities.
:: Grant writing and research: help identify potential funding opportunities and assist in writing grant applications.
:: Online Fundraising: help develop and manage online fundraising campaigns, including social media and email campaigns.
:: Donation Drives: organise and promote donation drives, such as collecting food, blankets, and other animal-care supplies.
:: Supporter Engagement: help engage with new and existing supporters, donors, and sponsors so they are always informed about our work and how their contributions are making a difference.
:: Administration: maintaining donor databases, tracking donations, and preparing thank-you letters.
Requirements:
:: A genuine interest in and commitment to improving the lives of animals.
:: Availability for flexible hours, ideally 3 or more hours per week.
:: Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the enthusiasm and ability to engage and inspire others.
:: Ability to work collaboratively with other volunteers, staff, and the broader community.
:: Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
:: Creative Thinking: ability to come up with innovative fundraising ideas and solutions.
:: Basic IT Skills: comfortable using email, social media platforms, and basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel).
