VOLUNTEER NEEDED:

Grounds staff volunteers

We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking Grounds Staff Volunteers to help maintain and beautify our outdoor spaces. Ideal for those who love working outdoors and want to contribute to the well-being of our rescues.


:: Assisting with general upkeep of the grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining pathways.

:: Cleaning and repairing animal enclosures, fencing, and other outdoor structures to ensure they are secure and in good condition.

:: Participating in gardening tasks, such as planting, weeding, watering, and tending to flower beds, to keep our grounds looking vibrant and welcoming.

:: Assisting with the removal of waste, debris, and recycling materials from the grounds, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.

:: Helping with minor repair and maintenance tasks around the facility, such as painting, fixing gates, or repairing equipment.

:: Taking part in larger projects, such as setting up for events, constructing new enclosures, or improving existing facilities.


:: A passion for improving the lives of animals and ensuring they have a safe and comfortable environment.

:: Availability for flexible hours, ideally once or twice a week.

:: Enjoy working outside in various weather conditions.

:: Basic knowledge of gardening, landscaping, or general maintenance is helpful but not required.

:: Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and using hand tools.

:: Ability to work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff.

:: A keen eye for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the grounds.
