We have 3 cute male chinchillas looking for their forever home together as they are a bonded trio.
Pogo is the most confident of them and is slightly older, he is medium grey. Then it is Smokey the dark grey boy and Monkey is the lightest grey coloured boy- who takes a bit longer to suss you out and feel braver around people. They are thought to be around 3 years old or a little older.
The boys love to run, zoom and bounce about and will need time to run around outside of their cage in a quiet safe room whilst supervised on a daily basis. They will also need time for cleaning out, cuddling and grooming them and they are used to regular handling.
They will need sand baths in their cage, very large wheels to run in, hamocks, wooden hidy beds, tunnels, wooden chew toys and fleece flooring covering different platforms for them to stand on and they will need a lovely big cage with three of everything in it, so that they can feel relaxed together.
They will need to be fed on hay, herbs and chinchilla nuggets, with the occasional treat to enjoy and help bond with them.
Previous experience with chinchillas or similar rodents is preferred due to the specific care they need.
