Rolo is a handsome, intelligent 11-month-old Springer Spaniel x Patterdale who is eager to find his forever home. Sadly, at such a young age, Rolo has been let down by several homes simply because he is keen to work, learn, and stay busy. This bright boy isn’t “too much” — he’s just full of potential.

Rolo has come a long way with his training and understanding of the world around him. He is incredibly smart, learns very quickly, and truly thrives when he has a job to do. He loves to please his owner and shines when given structure, guidance, and purpose.

Rolo needs an active home that is excited to invest time, training, and enrichment into helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s capable of being. A home with space, adventure, and mental stimulation is essential. With his strong drive and enthusiasm, Rolo would be an excellent candidate for dog sports or other activities that allow him to work and channel his energy positively.

He is not suitable for a home with cats or young children under 15 years old. Rolo may thrive in a home with other dogs who can help guide and teach him, but he would also be happy as the only dog in a committed, active household.

Rolo is a wonderful young dog with so much to offer. With the right home, he has all the ingredients to become a truly super companion.
