Meet Darling Luna

Luna is a gorgeous, loving 5-year-old Staffie x Labrador girl with a heart of gold.

Luna was rescued from a very difficult situation by a brave family who stepped in to save her from the worst kind of abuse. Despite everything she has been through, Luna has never allowed her past to take away her shine. With love, patience and care, she has made incredible progress and continues to show just how resilient she is.

Luna was later handed over to us when her family could no longer provide her with the time and routine she needed.

This beautiful girl absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than being the centre of attention. She is incredibly smart, eager to please and obedient with her person. Whether it’s heading out for a good walk, going on an adventure, learning something new or snuggling up on the sofa, Luna is happiest when she is sharing life with her favourite human.

She really is a true sweetheart with the biggest heart.

The Home Luna Needs

Luna is looking for an active home where her family enjoys long walks, adventures and spending time together.

She would particularly love a person or family who enjoys dog training, or who would like a dog to take part in activities or sports with. Luna is a clever girl who loves having something to do, and we think she would really enjoy continuing to learn and experience new adventures with her person.

Due to her past of neglect, other dogs can make Luna feel anxious and unsure. She can walk nicely alongside calm-natured dogs and, with the right guidance and redirection, she is able to ignore them. However, we believe Luna will be happiest and most comfortable as the only dog in the home, with no other pets, including cats.

Luna needs to have her own space where she can feel safe and secure with her person.

Important Information

Luna is not suitable for children under 13, including visiting children under the age of 13.

She is looking for a home that understands her past and will continue to give her the patience, routine, guidance and reassurance she needs.

Luna has overcome so much and has shown incredible strength along the way. She has so much love to give, and now it is time for this beautiful girl to finally find the dream home she deserves and begin the next chapter of her adventure.
