Emily joined Happy Landings following the sad loss of her own rescue cat, Litvineko. Keen to do more to help animals in need, she now oversees all aspects of the Health & Safety at our sanctuary including regulation, risk management, training and guidance on safety matters when they arise.

Emily brings with her an extensive background in compliance and safety, adapting her skills from engineering to create a safe, well-regulated environment for both staff and animals.

In addition to her commitment to Happy Landings, Emily works as a Global Safety Lead at an energy consultancy. Her role often involves travel, but she always stays actively involved in Happy Landings projects wherever she goes. 

When not traveling, she resides with her partner, Peter, co-cat parenting Tito and new rescue, Monty.
