Meet Arlo

Arlo is a 5-year-old Lurcher looking for his forever home.

Arlo is a sweet and loving boy who always wants to be by your side. Whether it’s joining you on your next adventure or simply being part of your daily to-do list, Arlo would love nothing more than to be your loyal companion.

He absolutely loves his long walks and runs, especially when he can enjoy them alongside his paw friends. Arlo originally came from a home where he was the only dog. Since coming into foster care and sharing his space with other friendly, fast-running dogs, he has made wonderful progress. Being around his canine friends has helped him overcome some of the fears and uncertainties he experienced when he first arrived.

Arlo is now looking for a special home that will cherish and love him as much as he will love

Arlo is looking for an experienced home, ideally with previous experience of rescue Lurchers, Greyhounds or similar sighthounds, including dogs with minor behavioural needs.

His adopters will need to understand the quirks of the breed and be able to provide Arlo with the structure, safety, patience and love he needs to continue thriving.

We would love Arlo to be homed with other friendly, similar-natured dogs who can help him enjoy a fulfilling life as part of a pack.

Arlo would be best suited to a quiet countryside home with plenty of space where he can enjoy his walks, runs and the freedom to explore safely. We can just imagine Arlo becoming the next

Arlo is not suitable for a home with children under 18, including visiting children.

He needs a quiet, low-traffic home with very few visitors, where he can feel safe, settled and secure.

Arlo has come a long way since arriving in foster care, and we’re looking for a special family who will continue to give him the understanding and support he needs while enjoying all the love and companionship this gorgeous boy has to offer.
