Meet Diego

Diego is a gentle, loving 2-year-old boy searching for his forever home. He’s a sensitive soul with a soft heart who has sadly experienced hardship and fear in his past. Because of this, Diego can be shy when first meeting new people—but once he feels safe and builds trust, he forms a deeply loyal and affectionate bond with his person.

Diego could live with a suitable, calm female dog who is big-dog savvy, but he is not suitable to live with male dogs. He can also live with large, dog-savvy cats and is best suited for a low-traffic household with no young visiting children under the age of 15. Diego is looking for a calm, patient environment where he can feel safe and secure.

This sweet boy needs a home where someone is around most of the time to offer companionship, consistency, and continued training—or a home willing to help him work through his separation anxiety. In return, Diego will give endless love, devotion, and quiet companionship.
